Café Scientifique groups in the UK and overseas are places where, for the price of a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, anyone can come to learn about the latest ideas in science and technology. Meetings take place in cafes, bars, restaurants and even theatres, but always outside a traditional academic context.
Café Scientifique Romsey, which is an Unincorporated Association , first met in January 2020 with meetings at the Royal British Legion (RBL), Love Lane, Romsey, SO51 8DE. It has become one of the largest and most active Cafés.

The June Cafe by Prof Malcolm Coe on a "Diversity of Moons" had to be cancelled due to the Planetarium air conditioning failing. We are working to reschedule the event
We ask for a donation of £5 per head (cash at the door please) to cover room hire and refreshments.
